Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had numerous skills, such as being able to direct, act and produce plays, as well as write them teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to a British father and an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. When she was a kid, she made the rounds in various commercials. Anna moved to Toronto in November of 1999, in order to continue her acting career. After that, she settled at Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her partner in the year 2009. Anna was just recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton. Bo's same-sex romance with Lauren was featured in CNN's top television Couples ever and named Top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's popularity on social media increased as a result of the series.
