Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney was birthed in Beirut. Her birth name derives of the form'ml' or 'amal' in Arabic and means "hope". The young girl was only 2 when her family relocated from Lebanon to Buckinghamshire from Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War. Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese Druze that hails from Baakline an area in the Chouf District of the Alam al-Din Dynasty. He graduated with an MBA at Beirut's American University of Beirut. In 1991[12][13] he returned to Lebanon when the Civil War ended. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. She was an international editor and political journalist for the Saudi-run al-Hayat newspaper. She was the founder of the PR firm International Communication Experts. This company is a part of an even larger firm which specializes in arranging celebrities photographers, publicity and events. Amal was raised in Manila. She is the mother of two siblings and one brother. 18. Amal was a student at Dr Challoner's high school, which is a grammar school for girls situated within Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, before going to college. She then attended St Hugh's College at Oxford which, in addition to, she was awarded the Shrigley Award and an exhibition grant. She was awarded an honorary Bachelor of Arts in Judiciary (BA) at the age of 2000.
