Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the US and is a writer from Greece, a syndicated writer of columns as well as a businesswoman. She is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global, as well as the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington is a journalist, writer, journalist, TV host, and owner of The Huffington Post. Originating from Greece, Arianna Huffington moved to England with her family when she was the age of 16. At Cambridge University she earned a MA qualification in Economics. She was the first person from outside the UK to become president of The Cambridge Union at the age 21. Her popularity as a columnist of the conservative side was confirmed after she graduated. With the introduction of The Huffington Post a few years later, she created an online platform for voice that gave critiques of the political situation. Her celebrity status helped her to get a number of prominent contributors to share their opinions on politics news and culture. Arianna became famous during 2003 when she volunteered for California's recall election, replacing then Governor Davis. Alongside this, she led an Detroit project to promote the use of fuel-efficient cars. She was named The Most influential women in media by Forbes in 2009, and was awarded the 12th place in the list. That same year Guardian listed her among the Top 100 Media List. AOL purchased The Huffington Post from AOL in the year 2011. She was then made the President of AOL's media group. It included a number of AOL-owned brands, including Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Elli has two siblings, Konstantinos Stasinopoulos as well as Elli and Konstantinos Stasinopoulos, who both are management consultants and journalists. The way she lived her life was determined by her closeness to her mother and her bond with her father despite her being very close to her father. At a young age, she displayed the leadership abilities that she is still known for. She moved to England at sixteen to further her studies and was enrolled into Girton College Cambridge. While in college she joined the debating Society Cambridge Union where she became the first foreign and third female president. In 1972, she earned an MA in Economics. Her career as an anchor and reporter started after her graduation. In addition, along with Bernard Levin she appeared on the show Face the music.
